To Our Crockett County Family

We hope this letter finds each of you doing well and staying healthy in the midst of these unchartered waters for all of us.  As promised, we want to continue to provide support to our children, families, and community members through this current crisis.  Crockett County Schools, Alamo City School, and Bells Elementary School are working together to develop a plan to focus on the needs of the children in our community.

Effective March 23, 2020 Crockett County schools will be closed through April 3,2020 to reduce the risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus.  We are committed to providing convenient meals during this closure and will keep you updated through social media and websites regarding any changes or new information.

We will begin meal service on Monday, March 23rd serving breakfast and lunch simultaneously from six school sites for ALL children 18 and under at NO CHARGE.  For the health of our community, a drive through service will be available at those six schools Monday through Friday.  Meals can be picked up from Friendship Elementary, Gadsden Elementary, Maury City Elementary, Bells Elementary, Alamo City, and Crockett County High School from 9-11am or 5-6pm.  Each child will be able to receive a breakfast and lunch meal. Children must be present in order for the meals to be provided.

This is the plan for the next two weeks through April 3rd.  Depending on evolving circumstances, our plan may change.  We will notify you of any changes in plenty of time so you can make appropriate adjustments.

We look forward to continuing to serve you during this time.

Remember students must pick up their meals in person.
