Baseball tryouts for upcoming 6th, 7th, & 8th graders has been moved to Tuesday, May 31st at the High School baseball field from 5:30-7:30. Parents can drop students off at the tennis courts behind the Middle School at 5:30 & pick them up at 7:30.
The purpose of our In-School-Suspension (ISS) at CCMS is to allow students to have a teacher available for support and instruction during out-of-class time.
This out-of-class time is assigned by administration and is done so if students fail to follow policies outline in the CCMS handbook. This handbook is lengthy but vital to understand and follow. All students and parents are issued a handbook at the beginning of the year and required to both read and sign (the last page) indicating that you understand and agree with the policies outlined in the handbook.
The time a student spends in ISS will allow for reflection of incident, completion of classroom assignments, and (when needed) the ability to meet with school counselors to avoid behaviors that result in infraction from the handbook policy.
In Short:
“I want to help your student LEARN from mistakes and GROW from them as they work through their middle school career”
