State-Wide Essay Winner for D.A.R.E

DARE Essay Winner FES

Millie Laster from Friendship Elementary has been announced as the STATE-WIDE Essay winner for DARE.  Millie wrote her essay about how drugs had impacted her life and won the county competition with her submission.  From there, her essay was entered into the state competition and she was picked as the TOP WINNER for the state of Tennessee for 5th grade.  Pictured with Mille are the following:
