I graduated from Crockett County High School and Union University with a degree in Elementary Education. My master's degree is in Administration and Supervision from The University of Memphis. I began my teaching career at Gadsden Elementary School. I taught first grade for 14 years and have been Principal for 14 years. I live in Alamo with my husband, Jared Foust, Assistant Director of Schools for the Crockett County School System. We have two sons. Alex is a graduate of UTK and the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas. He and his wife Madison reside in Arkansas. They are expecting their first child in August. Cade is a 2020 graduate of CCHS and plans to attend UTM in the fall. We enjoy sports and spending time at the lake.
