I am most thankful to begin the school year in person with you and hope I can help you achieve your goals of growth this year. I began my teaching career at CCHS and  am most thankful I returned after many years in Dyersburg. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and Master of Education from Union University and chose to return last year to add more Master's level work as a Reading Coach so I may better help my students who struggle in literacy. My heart is in helping my students by providing challenges and guidance with their best interests for future success.

I met my husband Barry when I first started teaching at CCHS. We have a wonderful son Gray in dental school, a loving daughter Anne-Kathrine who just graduated from Samford University and starts graduate school this fall, and our precious Julia who just wants to conquer fifth grade!
