Hi and welcome to Ms. Erin's Culinary Arts class! This is my 9th year teaching at CCHS and I look forward to getting to know my new students and reconnecting with my upper-level Culinary Kiddos!
I attended Ripley High School, Dyersburg State, and I am a 2003 graduate from Sullivan University in Louisville, KY. I have a BS in Culinary Arts and completed the CTE Occupational Teaching curriculum at UT Martin. I have worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 20 years, with careers in On-Site and Off-Site Catering, Restaurant Management, as a Rounds Cook, Expediter, Garde Manager Chef, Hotel Banquet Manager, and Executive Chef.
I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Josh. We have been married 16 years and together for over 26. We have a rescue Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever who is the center of our lives named Barley. We also have a rescue mule named FlapJack. We recently lost our other furry baby, Flash to cancer and we are beyond heartbroken.
In my spare time, I love to read, hang out in the pool, indulge in some good tv shows, explore new restaurants, travel as much as I can, research new recipes, and volunteer at church. I love my SiriusXM shows, memes, anything dog related, trivia, pop culture, Broadway shows, podcasts, the 80's, my patio plants and rose beds, candles, and music. I enjoy shenanigans, witty banter, and anyone with a wicked sense of humor. And I'm notorious for giving out fun nicknames to my students
