Hello, my name is Natasha Smith, and I teach English I and Honors English I students. This year, I will begin my ninth year at Crockett County High School and my fifteenth year of teaching. My goal is to instill within my students a healthy work ethic, one in which they dedicate themselves to doing the very best they can on a daily basis.
I have been married to my husband Tim for sixteen years, and we have five children: Reese, Brook, Samuel, and my twins, Jack and Wyatt. I also have a dog, Mick Fly (a play on the last name of Marty McFly from Back to the Future...a family favorite). I have an absolute love for literature, writing, spoken-word poetry, and theater, as well as watching my kids participate in football and in band.
I have a degree in English with an Emphasis in Writing from Union University and an MA Ed. from Bethel University in Curriculum and Instruction. Teaching is truly my calling. I love where I work, I love who I work with, and most importantly, I love my students who come into my room every day ready to learn.
