I was born and raised in Jackson, TN. I graduated from North Side High School, then I attended 2 years at Jackson State before earning my Bachelor's and Master's degree from Union University.
I married my loving husband in 1996. We have 2 children, Piper and Bryce.
My daughter, Piper, attends the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She marches in the Pride of the Southland Band and is majoring in political science. She plans on attending Law School next to becoming a copyright lawyer.
My son Bryce attends school right here at Crockett County HS. He will be a junior this year and aims to go to Knoxville just like his big sister.
I began teaching in 1999 in Milan, TN. I also held music positions in Paris, TN and Humboldt, TN before settling here in Crockett. I've been in this system since 2005 teaching Middle School band first; before transferring to be the High School director. I currently teach General Music, Color Guard, Band, and occasionally Music Theory.
I love my job. I love the people and students here in Crockett County and look forward to helping them love music and make memories they can look back on and smile.
