Crockett County children begin their educational journey in excellent schools. New multi-million dollar facilities were opened in the fall of 2003 for Maury City Elementary and Friendship Elementary, whereas Gadsden Elementary was completely renovated and enlarged. |
These schools, serving PreK - Grade 5, enjoy a small pupil/teacher ratio and have strong community support. An active parent/teacher group in each school benefits students in multiple ways. Accelerated Reader/Math, art, music, BRIDGES (Intellectual Development Class) and field trips enrich the strong academic elementary curriculum. |
